Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

This policy covers Free Battery Factory, LLC’s marketing and contact website. It is not legal advice. It does not yet cover a SaaS product, customer login, payments, client portals, or product telemetry — we’ll update it before any of those launch.

1. Who we are

Free Battery Factory, LLC is a Pennsylvania limited liability company.

2. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle information through our website, contact forms, email communications, and related business-inquiry workflows. It currently applies to a lightweight marketing/contact website — not a full SaaS product, login system, payment portal, client workspace, or production software platform.

3. Information we collect

We may collect information you choose to provide, such as:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company or organization name
  • Project details or inquiry notes
  • Files or links you choose to send
  • Scheduling or availability information
  • Any other information you include in a form, email, or message

We may also collect basic technical information automatically through hosting, security, and logging tools, such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device type
  • Referring page and pages visited
  • Date and time of visit
  • Approximate location derived from technical data
  • Security or error logs

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and discuss possible projects or services
  • Provide consulting, technical, research, software, or related business services
  • Schedule calls or follow-ups
  • Prepare proposals, statements of work, invoices, or agreements
  • Improve the website and business operations
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
  • Keep business records
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or contractual obligations

5. Forms and email

When you submit a website form, the message is stored as a record in our database (hosted on Cloudflare) and a notification is sent to our team inbox via a Google Apps Script webhook and Google Workspace email. If you email us directly, your message is handled in Google Workspace. We may use related business tools to respond.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data, regulated data, passwords, secrets, private keys, production credentials, protected health information, financial account numbers, or confidential client/customer data through a public website form unless we have specifically agreed to a secure transfer method.

6. Cookies and analytics

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and the site does not set its own cookies. Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) may set essential cookies required for security and bot protection. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and name the tools.

7. Third-party services

We use third-party services to operate the website and business, including:

  • Website hosting, infrastructure, DNS, and security (Cloudflare)
  • Email, productivity, and automation tools (Google Workspace, Google Apps Script)
  • Scheduling tools
  • Accounting, invoicing, and payment tools
  • Cloud storage and document tools
  • Professional advisors, such as accountants, lawyers, or insurance providers

These providers may process information on our behalf or under their own terms and privacy policies.

8. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information when necessary to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and provide requested services
  • Work with vendors, contractors, or professional advisors
  • Process payments, invoices, or business records
  • Comply with law, regulation, subpoena, legal process, or government request
  • Protect rights, safety, security, or business operations
  • Investigate misuse, fraud, security incidents, or abuse
  • Transfer business records in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets

9. Data retention

We keep information as long as reasonably needed for business, legal, tax, accounting, operational, security, or recordkeeping purposes. Inquiry and project records may be retained even if no project begins, unless deletion is required by law or we agree otherwise.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No website, email system, or online service can be guaranteed completely secure.

If you believe you have found a security issue involving our website, public form, public repository, public package, or other public-facing system, contact us at security@freebatteryfactory.com with the subject line: Security Report - Free Battery Factory. Please do not send secrets, credentials, regulated data, protected health information, financial account numbers, or third-party confidential information in your initial report. Free Battery Factory, LLC does not currently run a public bug bounty program. See oursecurity policy for details.

11. Your choices

You may contact us to request that we update, correct, or delete information you have provided, subject to legal, tax, accounting, contractual, security, and recordkeeping requirements. You can also choose not to provide certain information, although that may limit our ability to respond to your inquiry or provide services.

12. Regional privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights, such as the right to request access to personal information we have about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information, restriction or objection to certain processing, portability of information you provided, or information about how personal information is used or shared.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not currently use advertising, analytics, or cross-context behavioral tracking cookies. If you want to make a privacy request, contact us at hello@freebatteryfactory.com. We may need to verify your request before responding, and some information may be retained where needed for legal, tax, accounting, contractual, security, or recordkeeping reasons.

13. Children’s privacy

The website is intended for business and professional audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

14. Links to other websites

The website may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of those third-party sites.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date.
